NJ Transit has some critical information to pass on, I thought I'd share it.
The trains were down last Friday, I got a ride in with a civil engineering prof. who explained why they don't give partial credit to students: "Even if you get 3/4th's of the problem right, the bridge will still fall down. "
Not really true. Only 1/4 of the bridge falls down, or in my case one wing, the tail, the flight deck, or all the engines falls off. But don't worry these newfangled planes come with oxygen masks, and seats that float.
Of course you must remember that we design trains as well... And if you think you think you can escape we also design subways, cars, trucks, buses, boats, bikes, and shoes. So your best bet is to sit on a couch all day, but of course we desing those to. BWAH HA HA HA !!!
I think the empty display board you saw must have been the revised train schedule for that friday (when the trains were down). NJ transit are always quick to update their train schedules...
