First boil some spaghetti, then immediately strain the boiling water out of the spaghetti with a tempered glass lid that is somewhat chilled. Recommended serving: do not.

Flight of the Timid Gull
Resurrecting the poetry tag on the blog to share a recent poem. The inspiration was the difference between the seagulls in Turkey (martı), and the ones in Patagonia. In Turkey - they are crazy - swooping like crazy and catching Ottoman bagels in mid-air (Simit).
In Patagonia it was pathetic, this is the specific seagull - it keep circling around looking at, but not even getting close to eat the bread until the tourist got frustrated and tossed it in the water.
