We have cisco IP phones at work. Every now and then, they just go crazy. They'll start flashing or telling me that they can't find an open line to play a voicemail.I miss old phones that never had to be rebooted.
Occasionally all the phones on our floor dial the same number at once, in a reverse intercom type thing. It's very strange.
I too miss old phones - that you could plug a speaker into and hear a dialtone.
